A very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle and then an electric current producing heat is applied. This destroys the growth centre of the hair which then easily slides out with a tweezer. Electrolysis is successful on all hair including blonde, grey, red and brown coloured hair.
Hair grows in cycles, hence multiple treatments are required. The total number of treatments required will vary from person to person. Most clients return weekly or fortnightly. Once the series of treatments is complete the hair will be gone forever.
For most people the treatment is well tolerated, but it can be painful. If you find it too uncomfortable, you may be able to use a topical anaesthetic.
